Fink's Studio Notebook
The Fink Studio Building, which started construction in 1925, stands as a place were the drawings of the city beautiful were executed and where the ideas had to be explained about what the city they envisioned could be. Architect H. George Fink designed this building and worked out of it as a launchpad to communicate a dream of how a new city could take on the look and the beauty of an old Mediterranean style city encompassing a garden community with thoughtfully designed homes, buildings, fountains, parks, and entrances. The city of Coral Gables purchased the building in 2016 from a private owner.
A portion of the proceeds of the sale of this notebook will go to help save historic places.
